Agentic Coding Guide

Voted by โฅAN$A, Air Planes, Auny ๐งก, kaleb, Nathan, Rose Loops, Shawn Porter, Tia
A brutalist guide + game on the real agentic coding workflow. It opens with a 6-step interactive walkthrough (Plan -> Prompt -> Diff -> Test -> Commit -> Ship), each paired with the specific mistake that sinks a vibe-coded build. Then a 20-round timed Gauntlet: you get a real scenario (a plan, a diff, a claimed test result) and 14 seconds to call SHIP or REVERT, with an instant lesson either way. The centerpiece is Live Lab: you write an actual prompt telling an AI agent what function to build, it's sent server-side to a real LLM via OpenRouter constrained to return exactly one named function, the response is scanned for scope violations (fetch, globals, eval, infinite loops) before anything runs, then it's tested against real test cases inside a sandboxed iframe with a freeCodeCamp-style pass/fail checklist. Vague prompts get vague code, on purpose, no scripting involved.

- Claude Sonnet 5 (built the app); openai/gpt-4o-mini via OpenRouter (the live agent players prompt inside Live Lab)
Biggest real issue was making Live Lab safe to expose publicly: an LLM-generated function shouldn't be able to touch fetch/document/eval/infinite-loops when a stranger's browser runs it, so I added a regex scope-scan that blocks execution before it ever reaches the sandboxed iframe, plus a per-IP rate limit on the OpenRouter proxy so a live audience can't run up the bill. Also hit a real CSS bug: the SHIP/REVERT verdict overlay used `display:flex` unconditionally, which beat the browser's default `[hidden]{display:none}` by specificity, so the verdict showed immediately on every fresh round instead of after answering. Found it by actually testing at a mobile viewport instead of just trusting the desktop view, fixed with an explicit `.verdict[hidden]{display:none}` override.

you type what you wanna build. it doesnt let you. it asks 5 things first. what exists when its done. what it has to do, one per line. whats the obvious version and what actually goes wrong for the person using it. what youre building it with and what its NOT allowed to need. and how youll prove it works when you open it cold. every question has a red box that tells you exactly how skipping it sinks your build. hit "show me a filled one" if you dont wanna type. at the end you get a brief to paste into claude / cursor / whatever, or hit the bot button and it writes you a one pager: name, must dos, build order, what will sink it, and the first message to send your agent. last screen is what to do AFTER the prompt. 4 agent replies that sink you next to the 4 that ship. no login. nothing leaves your browser.

gave claude the challenge link and said "what should we build, we gotta be super fast." it built the wrong thing lol. a quiz. killed it. told it: look thru my vault, find how i actually build, cut it to 5 steps a beginner can do, turn them into questions, call it wat we building, repo + pages, my colors. that one shipped in 15 min. then i asked "does this satisfy the brief?" and it admitted the mistakes part was weak. so we added the red sinks-it boxes, a filled example, and the after-the-prompt screen. then i said put a bot in there. issues: the github pages call assumed a master branch, my branch is main. my own browser guard blocked screenshots so everything got checked with curl + node. the first draft of THIS submission sounded like claude not me so i made it rewrite it. the whole point of the build is the build itself: the second version was fast because i said what done looks like first.

It works by turning an agentic-coding guide into an explorable environment: 1. You move r3plic4nt through the room using WASD. 2. Each terminal represents one lesson or stage in an agentic workflow. 3. When you approach a terminal, you press `E` or `Enter`. 4. The game cuts to a focused terminal view. 5. That terminal can present: - The coding concept - A practical example - A prompt or workflow - Common mistakes - Supporting video or media - A small interactive challenge 6. You return to the room and continue to the next terminal. The room acts as the guideโs table of contents, while terminals contain the actual lessons. Eventually, completing terminals could unlock later sections and turn the guide into a structured learning journey rather than a conventional webpage. Right now, the exploration and terminal system work, but the six agentic-coding lessons still need to be written and installed.

Third Bass is a collaborative planning and review workspace where anyone can create a plan, invite others to review it, and independently flag anything they believe needs attention. There are no turns or room codes, and everyone can create and review multiple plans at the same time. Red flags are shared with the group, with independently flagged concerns becoming seconded when others identify the same issue. Plans, concerns, flags, responses, and resolutions remain available as part of the shared session history, creating a persistent record of how the group evaluated and improved each plan. Create a room, give it a purpose, and share the room code with the group. Everyone joins as a persistent guest with no account required and connects directly over WebRTC. Instead of simply voting โavailable,โ each person gets a limited backing budget to spend across the times they genuinely want. They can also mark conflicts as busy or maybe. Every action syncs live across the room. BACKED continuously compares the leaderโs support against the backing that participants still have left to spend. Once the leader can no longer mathematically be caught, the room automatically locks the decision. If someone later marks a backed time as busy, that backing is automatically withdrawn. The result is a scheduling decision based on commitment, not checkbox availability, with the winning time and group reasoning preserved as a shared record.

The starting repo depended on a competitorโs deployed Cloudflare Worker, so simply remixing the UI would have left us coupled to their infrastructure. I removed that backend and rebuilt multiplayer around WebRTC with a host-authoritative room model. The bigger product challenge was making the remix meaningfully different instead of producing a reskin. We replaced ordinary availability voting with a scarce commitment budget, added conflict states, automatic backing retraction, room purpose, deterministic tie handling, and an โinevitable winnerโ rule where a decision locks once the leader is mathematically uncatchable. I also separated the decision logic into a testable client-side core. The core scheduling tests pass, including budget limits, conflicts, automatic locking, ties, and conflict-triggered backing removal. The remaining WebRTC constraint is peer discovery: browsers cannot discover arbitrary peers on the internet with WebRTC alone, so PeerJS signaling is used only to establish connections while room data travels peer-to-peer.

Air Traffic Controlโจby airplanes A shared board for one meeting. Everyone uses the same link. No accounts. Paint when you can, clear a time, confirm youโll show up. How to use it 1 File the flight.โจGive the meeting a name and a purpose. Set how long it is, which days to search, the event timezone, and a place or video link if you have one. Open the room and copy the link. 2 Get on the board.โจOpen the link. Type your name and choose your timezone. You are painting in your local time; the room stores one shared schedule underneath. 3 Paint availability.โจDrag the grid. โฆ Hard yes = you can be there โฆ Maybe = you can make it if thatโs the only slot โฆ Clear = remove a blockโจUse working hours if you want weekdays filled in one tap. Two people have to paint before the board can rank times. 4 Read the departures.โจRanked cards are the best overlaps. Each card lists the time in every personโs zone and whether the slot is Fair, Uneven, or Harsh. Harsh means someone is outside normal hours. 5 Clear one time.โจThe organizer locks a card (or picks a start on the grid). That is the hold. Everyone should see the same locked time. 6 Confirm.โจTap Iโm in, Maybe, or I canโt. Download the calendar file and add it. Copy the invite if you need to send it outside the board. If someone hasnโt painted or confirmed, send them a nudge from the room. 7 Show up.โจWheels up means enough people committed. From shortly before the start, mark who arrived. Thatโs the roll. What the board is saying โข Holding โ still collecting availability โข Ranked โ enough data to pick a time โข Cleared โ the time is locked โข Confirming โ waiting on pledges โข Wheels up โ the meeting is real โข Done โ it already started; record who was there House rules โข One link is one meeting. SAMEFRAME is a shared watch-and-listen room that keeps everyone on the exact same moment, no matter where they are. Remote watch parties usually fall apart because someone is ahead, someone is behind, and everyone ends up coordinating playback instead of enjoying it. SAMEFRAME synchronizes play, pause, seeking, and skips across the whole room, with support for YouTube and direct video/audio URLs. Live chat, emoji reactions, and timestamped Moment Pins give everyone ways to react to the same moments together. Create a room, send the invite link to a friend, load something to watch, and try controlling playback from either device โ the fastest way to understand SAMEFRAME is to experience it together.

The hardest part was making this a genuinely shared experience instead of a single-user media player with chat bolted on. I focused the build around room-wide playback state so play, pause, seeking, and skips propagate between participants. I also needed YouTube to work alongside direct media URLs, so I added YouTube-specific playback handling while keeping the same shared synchronization model. For the social layer, I avoided generic chat-only interaction and added live emoji reactions plus timestamped Moment Pins that let the group attach comments to exact moments and jump back to them later. The final challenge was keeping all of that visually understandable without clutter, so the interface uses a cinematic player-first layout with the live group activity surrounding it.

GiveCircuit coordinates an entire community drive in one shared system. Recipients self-register for assistance, choose a pickup location, and track their request. Volunteers create accounts, sign up for shifts, check in/out, and have their service hours tracked. Organizers get an admin command center showing recipients, volunteers, inventory, fulfillment status, activity, and impact metrics in real time. Admins can configure pickup sites and custom registration fields, export records, manage privacy/retention policies, and review an append-only audit trail. The app uses persistent shared database state, so every role is participating in the same live drive rather than separate single-user experiences.

The biggest challenge was making this a real multi-user system instead of a polished mock. We moved all shared state into persistent D1 storage and built separate recipient, volunteer, and admin authorization flows. We caught issues around closed-drive behavior, inventory totals, hard-coded pickup locations, signup atomicity, and role-scoped mutations during validation and fixed them. We also added rate limiting, password recovery, optional real email verification, configurable fields/pickup sites, CSV exports, consent records, audit retention, and participant-data purging. Transactional email remains optional so lack of email configuration never blocks someone from registering for assistance. The final source passed syntax and SQL/schema validation; the only unavailable validation step was a dependency-installed build because the development sandbox could not reach npmโs registry.

An organizer creates a meeting room and shares the link. Everyone joins as a guest and marks each proposed time as Available, Can Flex, or Unavailable. ARRIVE calculates the live intersection of everyone's availability and only allows the organizer to lock a time that the entire submitted group can attend. If there isn't a shared time yet, it identifies the smallest conflicts and who could flex to resolve them. Once a shared time is locked, everyone confirms attendance, can add the meeting to Google Calendar or download an .ics event with reminders, and receives a shared countdown. Organizers can nudge people who haven't responded or confirmed. If someone drops out after locking, ARRIVE detects that the shared time has broken and can reopen scheduling while preserving everyone's availability. At meeting time, participants check in so the loop ends with who actually arrived โ not just who voted.

The biggest issue was making this a real shared app rather than a local-only scheduling poll. The original build targeted here.now Site Data, but deployment moved to GitHub Pages, which is static-only. I replaced the shared-data layer with Firebase Realtime Database plus anonymous authentication so guests can collaborate without account screens. I also caught a Firebase config mismatch: the first version expected custom config property names instead of Firebase's standard apiKey/databaseURL format, so I updated it to support the standard config directly. During testing I tightened the core scheduling rule too: ARRIVE no longer simply chooses the highest-scoring option. It computes the actual intersection of everyone's availability and refuses to lock a meeting if anyone is unavailable. The final lock is revalidated against live shared state before it is written, preventing a stale browser from locking an invalid time.

Screening Room is a watch party that actually feels like being in the same room. Send one link, everyone takes a seat, and the film starts on a shared countdown so every screen hits the same frame. Play, pause, or skip and it happens for the whole group. You react live, chat, and pin comments to the exact moment they happen. And the Usher, an AI host running on our own cheap GPU, runs the room: it welcomes people by name, calls them out when it goes quiet, runs hot-take polls, and can pause or jump the whole group on request. Anyone can host it for pennies, and it drops onto any video page with one bookmark.

A group passes one message down a chain. Each person sees ONLY what the last person handed them, then the app shows exactly how it mutated and who did it. The fork fixes three things in the Ep.8 build: 1. THE MESSAGE NOW DISAPPEARS. Before, it stayed on screen while you typed โ so it measured deliberate paraphrase, not memory. Now you tap to reveal, get a countdown scaled to length (4-15s), the composer is LOCKED while it's up, then the text is removed from the DOM. Enforced server-side, so reloading isn't a free second look. Paste is blocked and typing speed recorded โ a hop that comes back near-verbatim typed faster than anyone composes gets flagged LIKELY COPIED. 2. ONE BAD LINK NO LONGER POISONS THE RUN. Every claim used to be scored against the original seed, so one person going off-script marked every ribbon "dropped" and made the rest meaningless. Breaks are now detected (MAD outlier, robust to the single wild hop that inflates sigma), named, and the analysis re-baselines: per-segment fidelity, a second decay line, and a second flow diagram from where the chain actually restarted. Host can undo a turn. 3. THE BLINDING WAS BYPASSABLE. Player IDs were broadcast and join trusted a client-supplied one โ you could read the host's ID off the wire, rejoin as them, and be handed the seed. Seats now carry a secret token, never broadcast. Live run from tonight: 13% survived against the original, 34% re-baselined after the break, break correctly attributed. The abduction called it "vividness, 78% confidence." The salience-5 detail (a cat asleep in a pastry box) outlived every other claim โ textbook Bartlett sharpening.

- Runtime: ~15 model calls per 7-player game, roughly 1-2 cents. Build session tokens I didn't track.
Best thing I did was make the agent read the whole repo and argue with the premise before touching it. It came back with "this is serial transcription, not serial reproduction" โ the message never disappeared, so the drift being measured was mostly people choosing to paraphrase. That reframed the whole build. Bugs it found by writing tests for code that had none (45 unit + an end-to-end that drives a real game): - properNouns only guarded word index 0, so the first word of EVERY sentence after the first counted as a name. "Yesterday she left" reported a lost name "Yesterday". - numChanged recomputed the same replacement each iteration: 3 and 7 -> 50 and 60 reported both as becoming 50, plus a phantom invention. - buildReveal dropped each version's ai field, so the AI-confederate tag in the reveal could never render. - The alluvial diagram had never been visually confirmed against a live reveal (the README said so). It clipped its labels and stacked invented ribbons on top of each other. Both regression tests were verified failing against the pre-fix code โ a regression test that doesn't catch its bug is worthless. Deploy pain, in order: - pnpm's minimumReleaseAge rejected wrangler/miniflare (published that day) even as devDependencies. Image now installs only ws via npm. - Railway's own control plane threw a Prisma error mid-deploy: "column Workspace.supportTierOverride does not exist". Couldn't read our service config, silently fell back to Railpack instead of our Dockerfile, failed with zero build output. Waited it out. - My own worst bug: porting Cloudflare Durable Objects to Node, I listed env vars individually and forgot USHER_MODEL. Every model call used the wrong slug, OpenRouter 400'd, and the retry loop swallowed it โ the entire AI layer silently vanished with nothing in the logs. Fixed by forwarding all USHER_* vars and making /api/health report the model slug, so config errors are visible without SSH. Neat bit: the port doesn't fork the game logic. server/node.js implements the small slice of the Durable Object API that Room actually uses, then imports Room unchanged. Same end-to-end suite passes against both hosts, 17/17.

A rumor's chain of custody. Two games about what memory does to a sentence. Telephone: one person writes a rumor and it passes through everyone in the room, one at a time. You get one look at what reached you (12 seconds, shorter every hop, no pasting) and retell it from memory. The room only ever hands you the last version, enforced on the server. At the end: original beside final, then every hop word-diffed and tagged exaggerated / dropped / invented, pinned to whoever did it, plus a per-player ledger with a verdict. Before the record opens, a recall round scores each receiver on the first message that reached them. Memory ladder: whoever is playing sees one sentence for a few seconds and types it back. Accuracy is the score. Levels get longer and faster until nobody clears 40%. Three modes: solo, 1v1 (round wins decide), group. Four gossips with known habits (Mo exaggerates, Dee forgets, Fabi fabricates, Sal nearly gets it right) fill empty chairs, so it plays alone too.

Built in about 20 minutes, then reworked live on feedback: Sketchy hand-drawn style with six sketched characters, palette changed twice, doodles removed entirely after they kept landing on copy, a competitive memory ladder with solo / 1v1 / group modes. Biggest correction: the first version had everyone start a rumor at once (so nobody idled), and the first player was handed someone else's sentence. Reverted to one rumor per game, the brief's literal shape. Smaller ones: "eating" tagged as invented when "eat" was original (stemming), a board tie went to a bot over the human, the mode picker did not open from the home button until it was moved to the lobby render.

The biggest problem was that arbitrary websites cannot reliably be embedded because of iframe/X-Frame-Options/CSP restrictions. I changed the architecture so THRASH injects an isolated Shadow DOM overlay onto the actual live site using a bookmarklet instead. Browser testing then caught a real bug where selecting an element immediately cleared the selected DOM node before submission; I fixed the state order and reran the full flow successfully. I also fixed React rerenders overwriting the prepared bookmarklet URL. For multiplayer sync I used persistent D1 storage plus fast polling instead of pretending WebSockets were guaranteed by the hosting environment.

- Tuning the reveal timing was the core design problem: text needed to disappear fast enough to force real memory drift, but not so fast it felt broken. Landed on 300 wpm for the visible-text duration paired with the browser's default TTS rate for the audio, so the two channels are deliberately imperfect together. - First deploy attempt (Netlify) hit an interactive CLI prompt that couldn't be scripted, so switched to Railway mid-build. - Caught a real bug before shipping: local test data almost leaked into the production database because Railway's uploader doesn't respect .gitignore in a non-git directory โ fixed with an explicit .railwayignore and a clean redeploy, then verified persistence survives a full container restart.

Coverage is inverted: covered lanes recede, untouched ones stay dashed orange saying "nobody tested this", and the header counts lanes still dark rather than percent done. File a finding and it fingerprints your words. If someone already reported it differently, it stops you and makes you either +1 theirs or say something new. Bugs, feature ideas, design feedback and real code patches all pin to the same board as paper notes. "Open a pull request" fetches the target's live source through the Worker, you edit it in place, and it diffs your edit into a patch. "Red team with AI" fetches the page and runs real checks โ CSP, clickjacking, HSTS, nosniff, tab-nabbing, mixed content, viewport, alt text, password-over-GET โ pinning every hit through the same duplicate gate. An AI Reviewer reads every patch automatically, answers @bot in chat, and can be asked about any finding. Plus a shared whiteboard, sticky notes, a plan list and chat. The target opens in your own tab, not an iframe, so logins and paywalled pages work.

The build brief was mine, given in pieces while it was being built: red-team as a team, chat, a git-repo-style system where people pull code and fix it, a collab whiteboard, sticky notes, an AI code checker, and "make it look like a simple bulletin board." Visual direction was two of my own art specs mixed โ Sketchy inverted into chalk-on-blackboard, and Schitzo's law that cold is the ground and the warm colour is the intrusion. Black, orange, violet. I consulted Codex for design elements. It changed three things: invert the coverage so gaps stay bright, make orange mean urgency instead of a category so the four kinds are told apart by silhouette, and stop building five equal columns โ findings are the board, coverage is its top rail. The correction that mattered most was mine: the first homepage was structurally identical to yesterday's build, so it got rebuilt as a paper intake slip pinned to a corkboard.

CampAI reimagined as a welcoming, woodsy workspace. It opens in dark forest mode, with a remembered light-mode option, clear sidebar navigation, the current challenge, community stats, and real builds. The design carries through builds, voting, the leaderboard, builder profiles, and account pages. Profile photos and initials share consistent sizing, and leaderboard rows keep names and scores aligned. This is a fork of the existing platform. The production code retains PostgreSQL, accounts, sessions, submissions, four-category ratings, and existing URLs. Adoption requires no schema migration or account transfer. A read-only preflight script and staging/cutover/rollback guide are included. Security improvements isolate uploaded HTML with an opaque sandbox origin, add response headers, and normalize login error messages. The ChatGPT Sites preview shows actual public CampAI content. Account and submission actions continue on the existing service; the PR contains the database-backed application changes.

The brief was to rethink CampAI with a woodsy/tech design while improving usability, security, and migration. I pushed the build toward default dark mode, consistent subpage styling, real community content, and a PR against the original repository. One visible issue was inconsistent leaderboard avatars: the previewโs content security policy blocked the inline styles controlling their dimensions. We moved avatar sizing into shared CSS and standardized the profile rows and score columns. The migration decision was to preserve the existing backend and schema instead of introducing another data system. Deployment becomes an application update with a documented rollback. TypeScript and the Next.js production build passed. Public preview routes were checked. Authenticated staging workflows and mobile visual testing remain unverified. BRAID is a collaborative creative-writing room built around how groups actually make stories, scripts, lyrics, and worlds together. Writers join as persistent guest profiles with their own unique IDs, then co-author the same structured project in real time. Instead of one giant shared textarea, projects are organized into chapters, scenes, verses, beats, characters, and world notes. Collaborators can see who is present and where they are writing, leave inline comments and rewrite suggestions, accept changes, create version checkpoints, restore earlier states, and branch the entire manuscript to explore alternate directions without destroying the original. A built-in Muse system can also generate contextual brainstorming prompts. Room/project state and guest identity persist between visits, so it feels like an actual creative workspace rather than a temporary multiplayer demo.
- Models
- GPT-5.6 Sol for product design, implementation, debugging, and iteration. BRAID itself does not require a paid AI model/API to function; its current Muse brainstorming system runs locally in the app.

- Built using my existing ChatGPT access. Exact session token usage/cost is not exposed to me. The deployed BRAID app itself currently has $0 required AI/API cost per user because its core collaboration and Muse features do not depend on paid model calls.
The biggest challenge was making this genuinely higher-level than โGoogle Docs with a prettier UI.โ I pushed the build toward group creative workflow instead: structured scenes/sections, live presence, inline suggestions, project branching, version history, and creative brainstorming. I also had to design it as a static ChatGPT Sites deployment without a traditional backend. Collaboration uses browser-based synchronization/WebRTC, while persistent local project state keeps the workspace usable between sessions. Another important issue was guest identity: temporary anonymous users are confusing in a collaborative room, so I added persistent guest profiles with unique IDs so returning writers keep the same identity. I also deliberately removed fake seeded collaborators so multiplayer behavior represents real people joining the room.

Two build failures worth naming. First, pnpm 10 silently wrote a pnpm-workspace.yaml containing only onlyBuiltDependencies โ valid locally, but the build image's pnpm 9 read it as an empty workspace and refused to install. Second, DATABASE_URL resolves to postgres.railway.internal, which serves no TLS, so the client had to learn to skip TLS there while keeping it for public proxy URLs. I caught that one before deploying by reading the resolved variable rather than after a failure. The tests are mutation-verified: loosening the seconding threshold from >= 2 to >= 1 fails exactly one test, the anonymity one. 25 tests total.

Camp Commissary โ 45 seconds Right now a ๐๏ธ AI build lives for exactly one night. You ship in thirty minutes, everyone votes, and then it's a row on a leaderboard. Two seasons in, that's 158 builds we've thrown away. Camp Commissary turns them into stock. A builder lists what they shipped as a seed โ not a product, a starting point โ and sells the build log, the export, or a single run. Anyone can fork it, and the original builder gets credited permanently plus 5% of whatever the fork earns. Builder keeps 80%, camp takes 15%. Not everything gets in. Two-thirds of our builds don't clear the bar today, and that's the point โ it's a shelf, not an archive. The league doesn't change. No wallet, no checkout, nothing to pay before you compete. A community drive has three groups who normally never see the same information. Families in need fill out a paper form. Volunteers text a coordinator to ask when to show up. And one exhausted organizer keeps the truth in a spreadsheet nobody else can open. Drivehouse is one page with three doors into one shared record. A family walks through the first door and registers themselves โ two minutes, no proof of need, no account. They get a four-character code instead of a password, and can check their status or withdraw any time. A volunteer walks through the second door, picks the jobs they're up for, claims a shift off the board, and checks in when they arrive. Their hours count themselves. The organizer walks through the third door into a console that already knows everything: who registered, who's on the floor right now, what's on the shelf, which shifts are short. One button walks the shelf, reserves gifts for the families still waiting โ oldest request first โ and assigns each delivery to a driver in that neighborhood. They review the plan and apply it. The trick is that all three doors write to the same page. When a family registers, the organizer's tally moves. When a donation is logged, the family's status advances. Nobody reconciles anything, because there's nothing to reconcile โ there's one record, and everyone is looking at it.

SignTrail by @rookepoole is a browser-based PDF signing tool that produces byte-match integrity receipts, but left the audit trail trapped in a companion JSON file. This remix automatically appends a tamper-evident, DocuSign-style Certificate of Completion page directly to finalized PDFs. When you finalize a document, SignTrail generates the verification ID and completion timestamps, synthesizes an audit page detailing the original SHA-256 fingerprint, signer identity, and field inventory, and binds it permanently into the PDF before computing the final signed hash. To use it, drop any PDF into the workspace, place and complete your fields, and select Finalize document. The final PDF now carries its human-readable certificate on the last page while maintaining SignTrail's strict byte-for-byte cryptographic receipt verification.

1. PDFLib standard Helvetica threw `WinAnsi cannot encode "โ"` when drawing status checkmarks on the canvas; resolved by replacing unicode glyphs with pure ASCII status tags. 3. Had to carefully sequence `verificationId` and timestamp generation prior to PDFLib compilation so the appended certificate page contains the exact verification ID and original fingerprint before calculating the final signed SHA-256 hash.

Each song room is a single Yjs CRDT doc (one Y.Text per section for character-level concurrent editing, plus a Y.Array of comment threads per section), synced live over a custom WebSocket server built directly on y-protocols/sync + awareness. Upload a reference track and it renders as a wavesurfer.js waveform; song sections (Verse/Chorus/Bridge/etc) are literal timestamp regions on that waveform, and the active section highlights karaoke-style as the track plays. Multiple writers type in the same section simultaneously with live presence cursors/avatars, leave inline comments per section, save named version snapshots to roll back to (restores merge live via the CRDT, no reconnect needed), and pull AI rewrite/brainstorm suggestions per section from an OpenRouter-backed panel. Styled fully brutalist: thick borders, hard offset drop-shadows, Archivo Black + Space Mono type, dark high-contrast theme.

Biggest bug: React 18 StrictMode double-invokes effects in dev, which was calling provider.destroy()/doc.destroy() right after first mount โ wiping the Yjs song doc before the first WebSocket sync ever completed, so sections silently vanished. Fixed with a reference-counted cache (acquire/release) for the Y.Doc + WebsocketProvider so real cleanup only fires after a real unmount, not React's dev-mode remount check. Second challenge: binding a plain <textarea> to a Yjs Y.Text for true multi-cursor concurrent typing (not last-write-wins) needed a small prefix/suffix diff on every keystroke to convert it into minimal CRDT insert/delete ops instead of clobbering the whole field.

Red team work usually lives in chat threads, spreadsheets, and someone's notes, so findings get lost and nobody agrees on what's critical. CodeRed gives the crew one board. A tester files a finding with repro steps and evidence. A reviewer sets the severity, assigns an owner, and validates it. A maintainer resolves it once the fix is verified. Every step shows up in a live feed so the whole team sees the state of the engagement without asking. And between engagements, the crew sharpens up in the training lab: realistic scenarios where you write the report you'd actually file, get scored against a reference answer, and climb the leaderboard.

Walking through it like a live demo: 1. **Join** โ you land on a gate screen, type a name, and either generate a random room code or paste one a friend sent you. Hit "Enter the room." 2. **Share** โ the room code lives right in the URL (`#room=ABC123`), so "Copy invite link" gives you something you can just paste in a group chat. Whoever opens it lands in the same room. 3. **Load something** โ anyone pastes a direct video or audio link into the box at the bottom and hits "Play for everyone." It detects whether it's audio or video and loads it for the whole room simultaneously. 4. **Stay in sync** โ from there, whoever plays, pauses, or drags the seek bar, everyone else's player jumps to match. It corrects for network lag using timestamps, so people don't slowly drift out of sync over a long video. 5. **React together** โ tapping an emoji sends a burst that floats up over the video for everyone in the room at the same instant, so it feels like reacting in the same room instead of typing into a void. 6. **Chat** โ a normal live chat panel alongside the player for running commentary. 7. **Pin a moment** โ instead of just chatting past a great scene, "Pin this moment" drops a marker on the seek bar tied to that exact timestamp, with a note. It shows up in the Moments tab too, and anyone can click it later to jump straight back to that point โ so the best bits of the watch don't get lost in scrollback. Under the hood, there's no backend server: browsers connect directly to a public real-time relay (PartyKit) keyed by the room code, and broadcast small JSON messages for playback state, chat, reactions, and moments. That's also why it can ship as a plain static file / Hugging Face static Space with nothing to configure.

- I don't have access to the actual token counts for this conversation, so I can't give you an exact number โ but here's a reasonable estimate based on what got generated: - The main build (single HTML/CSS/JS file, ~740 lines) plus the design-planning pass and the HF Space packaging round out to roughly **40โ70k tokens** across the conversation. - Using Claude Sonnet 5 API pricing, that's very roughly **$0.30โ$0.60**, though actual cost depends on your specific plan/interface and whether you're on API billing or a subscription (in which case there's no per-token charge to report). If you need a precise figure for the submission, the accurate way to get it is checking your Anthropic Console usage dashboard for this session rather than my estimate โ happy to help interpret it if you pull those numbers.

FlagHive: a visual, collaborative planning workspace remixed from Third Bass, which builds on SECONDED. I replaced the aviation theme with emoji identities, three-color feedback, line-by-line discussion, and a complete decision-to-final-plan workflow. Open the public link, sign in with ChatGPT, and choose your name and emoji. The People directory shows recognizable names and stable account tags. Create a plan with one step per lineโor open the sample to try it immediately. Reviewers flag individual lines and explain why: ๐ฉ Concern: the reason stays sealed until two distinct accounts raise a red flag. Flag authors stay anonymous. ๐ก Almost there: named feedback suggesting refinement. ๐ข Love this: named feedback explaining what works. Once a flag lands, the line gets a named discussion thread. The planner can update, accept, or remove a line, with a required justificationโor stop the entire plan with an explanation. After every seconded-red and yellow concern is resolved, the planner gives the green light. FlagHive produces a copyable final plan with corrections applied and removed lines omitted. Changes sync every five seconds.

My main prompt was to make the review feel like a group conversation: remove the airplane theme, emphasize visual feedback and emojis, add discussion around flagged lines, and require explanations for planner decisions. The first iteration made identity too implicit. User feedback exposed that immediately, so we added explicit profile onboarding, a People directory, and stable account tags. Fictional sample reviewers are clearly labeled. The original app connected to a shared Supabase database. We gave FlagHive its own Cloudflare Worker and D1 database so the remix would not alter the original workspace. Red-flag redaction and planner permissions are enforced on the server. We also added a public sign-in entry screen before opening link access. The build, TypeScript checks, and API workflow tests passed. Tests cover sealed reasons, duplicate flags, identity, named discussion, planner permissions, required justifications, and finalization. Browser and live multi-user testing remain outstanding. One intentional departure from SECONDED: red reasons reveal automatically after the second flag, without its original sealing ceremony or owner-triggered reveal.

Four roles, and the amount you have to prove scales with what you're trusted with, not with what you need. Volunteers and providers sign in with a name and no password. Organisers get a real gate because they see real names. Households never get an account at all โ they're given a two-word emblem like "The Winter Wren" and that's their only key. A household asks for something through a form that wants to know who's around your table and what a child loses track of time doing, not their clothing sizes. That creates a square on the public quilt with no name on it. A volunteer opens a square and the delivery address is gated twice: signed out it isn't rendered at all, and signed in you still have to take the square on before it appears. Then they get the address, the handover method the family chose, and a QR code. The shelter sits on the same quilt โ foster a pet, book a walking slot, or cover what the shelter is short of. And a sponsored-work lane pays people $18โ25/hr or $20 a patch, funded by sponsors, open to anyone including people who are on the board themselves.

the gated delivery address was CSS-blurred but still sitting in the DOM, so a screen reader read it aloud to anyone. A privacy gate that only works if you can see isn't a gate. It's now not rendered at all. The research killed my main assumption. I built around families not registering. They do register โ then they hear nothing for weeks. One showed up Christmas morning with nothing. That reframed the whole product around the wait, not the signup.

The name is the message already sitting unanswered in your group chat. Finding the overlap is the part every tool already does. When2Meet finds it and stops, handing confirming and reminding back to you; Doodle and the open-source clones do the same. Meanwhile no-shows run 20-30% at corporate campuses and ~32% across events, and the research is consistent: the weakest formats are the ones where not attending costs nothing. A green box costs nothing. That's why nobody shows up. So this doesn't add reminders โ it makes the yes cost something. 1 ยท Get in. The room code mints itself into the url, so the address bar is the invite. Name only, no account. 2 ยท Say what you can't make. Three ways, all optional: a Google sync, your calendar's secret .ics link, an .ics file parsed in your browser, or just tap the times. You only ever flag conflicts โ leaving a time open is deliberately not a promise to be there. 3 ยท The board finds what's clear for everyone. One person's conflict is the table's conflict, so a green slot is green for all of you. The headline says how many times are clear and how many people have actually synced. Anyone can also propose a specific date and time, and the slot carries the name of whoever asked for it. 4 ยท Stake five chips on the times you'll genuinely turn up for, stacked if you mean it. You can't chip everything, and you can't stake a time you marked busy. The board closes itself the moment no chip left in anyone's hand can catch the leader โ so nobody waits on a poll that's already decided. 5 ยท Show up, or don't. Turn up and your stake comes back. Don't, and it burns, and you're short next time someone asks when you available. Then the AI notetaker writes the meeting into the room's record โ the time called, what it won on, minutes from first chip to close, who staked what, who showed โ and deals a fresh board with chips carrying across. The room is the team; meetings are rounds inside it. Hit Deal a demo table to see the whole loop with four people already at it.

Each person sees only the version immediately before theirs, rewrites what they remember, and passes it forward. Groups can play on one device or use remote handoff links. The central challenge was preserving the blindness of telephone while still recording the entire mutation chain. I solved this with a strict game flow: setup โ concealed handoff โ single-message retelling โ final reveal. Players cannot inspect earlier versions during their turn. Supporting remote groups without requiring accounts or a database was another challenge. Remote mode carries the game state through a next-player handoff link while opening directly on the concealed handoff screen. I also added local recovery so an interrupted game can be resumed. For the reveal, I built custom word-level comparison logic that measures message similarity and detects dropped, newly invented, and amplified language. The interface was designed around the game itself rather than a marketing page, with responsive layouts for both desktop and mobile.

I built a red teaming collaboration site for a builder crew to test and work together in real time. When users land on the homepage, they can click LOGIN (DEMO), which uses a fake login flow (no auth backend yet) and routes them to a mission dashboard. The landing page is fully re-themed for red teaming, with sections focused on reporting findings, triage flow, collaboration, and team training. The dashboard gives the crew quick access to Bug Reports, Project Rooms, Training Labs, and Team Activity. This version is intentionally no-backend for speed, so we can test UX and team workflow first, then add real auth + database once the flow is validated.

Main issues were scope and sequencing, not code complexity. - First pass was too โAI productโ branded, so I did a full content/theme rewrite to a red teaming voice (mission control, report flow, triage, validation, resolution). - Needed a login-like flow without backend overhead, so I implemented a fake login button that sets a localStorage flag and routes users to /dashboard. - Build validation initially failed lint because eslint wasnโt installed in this shell setup, so I validated with production build (pnpm build) and confirmed all routes compiled. What worked: fast iteration on copy + UI structure first, then backend later after the team validates the workflow.

Everyone opens the link and lands in a room that already exists โ a code is generated for you, so the only thing it asks is your name. You get assigned a silly face you don't get to pick, and you're in the chat immediately. Then you confess. Twelve food crimes (pineapple on pizza, boneless wings, replying "k"), answered privately on your own phone, everyone at the same time. The second you finish, a bot called The Judge reads you out loud using only your own answers: "@AUNY objected to 11 of 12. A genuinely difficult person." You get roasted alone before you know anyone else's votes. Then the trial. One crime at a time, the split is revealed and the Judge names whoever stood alone: "Boneless wings. 7 said abomination. One did not. @SAM stands alone. Explain yourself." Everyone piles on in the chat. You can @ each other and @judge, and it answers from the real tally. After twelve crimes the screen flips from black void to bright paper and hands out four verdict cards: most cursed individual, insufferable purist, the one thing you all agreed on, and unlikely allies โ two people who were alone together against the whole room and didn't know it. That last card is the actual icebreaker. You get there by arguing first. Then there's an arcade: snake, nerve (hold and release at exactly ten seconds, no clock) and reflex, all on one shared live leaderboard with the Judge calling the standings.

The initial brief, roughly as I gave it: "has to be funny! i kinda wanna think in terms of red flags. people's red flags make people laugh โ if red flags are the 'ice breaker', people can then laugh about it, move past what they dont like about a person and relate on what they actually like. i'm thinking onboarding has a multiple choice interview on their red flags - funny dumb ones like pineapple on pizza... or shit like that. can take inspiration from some of these posts i had" The posts were my own "= Abomination" series, so the twelve crimes in the game are real ones people already argued with me about. After that the direction came in pieces as I watched it come together. We can't build the same UI we had yesterday โ use a mix of my Schitzo, Negative Space and Sketchy art styles instead. We should have a chat room built in so we can all enter and chat. Put an AI bot in there too, and people and the bot can tag each other. The build can't be a static thing, it has to be a live site, could just be a git site. The background should be animated and interactive to mouse movements, and add tiny design elements like graphics and clip arts that add a personal touch. Joining shouldn't have any gates โ if someone's on the link they can chat, just ask for their name, assign a random room code by default, and randomly give everyone a silly pfp. Then add three mini games people can play after the icebreaker is complete, simple ones, like snake or some kind of spacebar game everyone can play together. And the copy fix that mattered most: "twelve food crimes" made no sense as a headline. It named the content instead of telling you what to do. "Confess your crimes" does.

A host creates a room and adds a plan manually or imports a PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, CSV, JSON, HTML, or RTF document. FAULTLINE breaks the plan into reviewable sections and shares them with separate no-sign-in guest profiles over WebRTC. Everyone reviews independently and anonymously, flagging specific sections with severity, concern type, and an optional explanation. Crucially, nobody sees anyone else's concerns during review, preventing the first objection from anchoring the group. Once everyone is ready, the host reveals the results and FAULTLINE ranks the plan's real fault lines by anonymous reviewer count, severity, and section.

The main design challenge was making this meaningfully different from anonymous comments. I landed on a blind-review โ simultaneous-reveal mechanic so participants can't influence each other's concerns before committing their own judgment. Technical issues included realtime state synchronization over WebRTC, persistent no-sign-in guest identities, reconnects, and document importing. I used persistent browser guest IDs, a host-authoritative WebRTC state model, reconnect handling, and client-side document parsing. I also found an edge case where a peer joining could overwrite the host's imported draft, so I changed the state merge logic to preserve the host's working document until review begins.

Airplanes Mode is a local harness that takes an idea from plan to ship: someone writes a brief and a design, someone builds against that design, a checklist walks the real artifact without fixing it, then a gate must pass before anything ships, and two independent reviewers score the finished work from a fresh context so one person never builds and approves their own output.

Create or join a room with a shareable code, paste any direct video/audio URL (.mp4/.mp3/.webm), and it loads for the whole group at once. Play, pause, and seek on the HTML5 player are captured and broadcast over Socket.IO โ the server holds authoritative room state (currentTime + playing, drift-corrected against wall-clock time) so a late joiner snaps to the live position instead of starting at 0:00. On top of sync there's a live chat panel and six one-tap emoji reactions that float up over the player like a stream overlay, so it feels like everyone's actually in the room together instead of watching alone on staggered timers.

Skipped the YouTube IFrame API on purpose โ embed/auth restrictions would've eaten the whole build window โ and synced a plain HTML5 <video> tag against direct media URLs instead, which was reliable to demo immediately. Biggest bug: remote state updates (play/pause/seek applied from the server) were re-triggering the same client-side listeners and re-broadcasting themselves right back out, a feedback loop. Fixed by flagging updates as "applying remote" and suppressing outbound events for ~150ms after any server-driven change. Also had to correct for clock drift: instead of trusting each client's local time, the server computes live position as last-known currentTime + elapsed time since it was last updated, so someone joining mid-playback lands within ~0.6s of the group instead of at the start.

One device, passed around. Everyone answers privately and the screen clears between hands. Each person marks every option great / fine / can't. A "can't" is a hard limit and needs a stated reason the group sees. Options die on a named limit, not a popularity contest, so nobody has to argue anyone down. Survivors rank by their worst-off person, not the average. The winner is the option whose unhappiest person is least badly off, which protects whoever drew the short straw. If everything gets blocked, it finds the option blocked by exactly one person and asks only them. Nobody else moves, nobody is asked twice, and "no" is a legitimate answer. Then everyone signs. Refuse and your objection becomes a new limit and it re-runs. Unanimity, not four out of five. In the 3D scene each person is a bloom and each option a branch to everyone who can live with it. A limit snaps the branch and the option falls to the floor, tagged with who killed it and why.

First pass looked AI-generated, all rounded cards and soft gradients. So I actually opened threejs.org and stole its interface grammar: lil-gui became the limits rack, stats.js became the survivor counter, monospace and hard edges throughout. The 3D is a hand-rolled canvas projection, ~120 lines, because a 3D library would break the single-file constraint. Then a real bug: I multiplied the projection factor by focal length instead of using it directly, so every bloom rendered at ~750px radius. The screen was two giant circles. One misplaced multiply. The one that changed the design: I gave the mascot spec to Codex and it attacked the premise, not the code. I'd had her peek through her hands at deadlock. Codex pointed out that makes her look distressed exactly when someone is holding a boundary, quietly punishing the one person the mechanism exists to protect. I'd have shipped it. She's now an ambient witness, never reacts to a person, stays calm when someone says no.

Reviewers tap lines to flag them with an optional one-line why, and everyone must flag at least two lines before sealing, so having flagged at all identifies nobody. The owner reveals once two people have sealed. A line's flag text unseals only when two independent people flagged it; a lone flag stays a black redaction bar reading "sealed ยท 1 of 2", for everyone, the owner included, forever. Group members open the share link and tap any section to anonymously flag it as a "concern" or "dealbreaker," optionally with a short note โ no login, one flag per person per section (tracked via a per-device anonymous ID, enforced server-side with a unique constraint). The owner dashboard shows the proposal text re-rendered as a heatmap โ sections with more flags glow redder โ with flag counts and notes attached. Notes only unlock once a section hits 2+ flags, so no single flag is attributable to one person. The dashboard polls live so results update as the group responds. Balancing anonymity with accountability โ a single flag per section could always be traced back to "the one dissenter" in a small group, so I added a 2-flag threshold before notes (not just counts) become visible, protecting the first flagger. Also had to decide how to segment "sections" from freeform text โ settled on blank-line-delimited paragraphs as the flaggable unit, which is simple enough to explain instantly but expressive enough for real proposals.

Letters drop in as cargo crates and you turn them into words to load onto your plane, but nothing you claim is ever fully yours since anyone quick and clever enough can steal a word right out from under you by stretching it into something longer and different. Theres also a faster mode where you race the clock on short letter fragments and burn through engines if you cant keep up, with wider vocabulary earning you fuel back rather than just fast typing winning the day. Both players connect peer-to-peer over WebRTC and command a squad of Spike, Ghost, and Warden units on a 7ร7 tactical grid. Each unit gets 2 AP per turn for movement, attacks, repairs, and fortification. Players fight over relay influence zones that generate Signal, with the first player to 10 Signal or the last surviving squad winning. Each class also has a once-per-match signature ability. The first version was mechanically too punishing: one action per unit made early mistakes difficult to recover from. I redesigned it around 2 AP per unit, increased mobility, relay influence zones, repair, shields, comeback Failsafes, and clearer turn forecasting. Then I added a guided AI tutorial because the expanded rules still needed onboarding. The tutorial uses deterministic opening moves before transitioning into a tactical AI opponent. I also kept the host authoritative so WebRTC peers send action intents instead of independently deciding game state, reducing multiplayer desyncs. Signature abilities were added last using the existing state/AP architecture rather than introducing another resource system.

First built it as a Claude Artifact prototype, but its multiplayer db capability turned out to be org-scoped โ unusable for a real opponent outside my own account. Rebuilt it as a standalone Express/Socket.IO server with the game logic moved server-side (so it can't be spoofed by the client) and deployed to Railway for a real public link.

Majority-of-shouts vs actual consensus. A 10-vs-3 on importance is consensus; a high-stakes dissenter is not. Fixed by precomputing weighted stance, camps, and high/low-importance dissent, then feeding that math to the judge so it couldnโt vibe-rule. Invitees shouldnโt need an account. Guest ballots on the share link, plus proxy votes for โthey already told me in the group chat.โ No mail server. Copy link + mailto with the docket pre-filled. Be honest in the UI instead of fake โemail sent.โ Rowdy/NSFW. Clerk prompt: donโt moralize, donโt refuse legal adult mess; still refuse crime/minors. 15-minute clock. Brand card ran as a parallel pass so Imagine didnโt block the app. E2E still hit live Grok: sign up โ draft โ three ballots โ ruling. Production preview without a database URL tried to boot PGLite missing wasm assets. Deploy path uses Neon; local QA copies the assets. Didnโt fake the judge.

# Project Prompts Log All prompts I (the user) wrote for this project, in chronological order, across both work sessions. Interrupted/duplicate resends are collapsed to the final version. Secrets (e.g. API keys pasted mid-session) are omitted. ## Phase 1 โ "Living Calendar" concept (scrapped) This phase explored a cinematic pitch-deck / landing-page concept before pivoting to an actual usable calendar app. All of this was later deleted. ### 1. Initial creative brief > Ok first and foremost I need this demo up in 10 minutes on railway and i'm using openrouter for the ai I actually wouldn't pitch this as a calendar at all. > > I'd pitch it the way Apple introduced the iPhone: > > "We've rethought time." > > The demo should feel like someone is using software from 10 years in the future. > > High-Level Prompt > Living Calendar > A continuously evolving operating system for human intention. > > Design a premium, Apple-inspired landing page and fully interactive demo for a product called Living Calendar. > > The design language should feel like Apple's Human Interface Guidelines mixed with Linear, Notion, and Nothing OS. > > Use: > > Pure black (#000000) > White typography > Soft gray dividers > Glass morphism > Extremely smooth animations > Lots of whitespace > SF Pro Display typography > Large cinematic sections > Scroll-driven storytelling > No bright colors except subtle system blues for interactive states. > > The product is NOT another calendar. > > It is an AI operating system that continuously asks: > > "Given everything I know right now, what is the best next action?" > > The experience should feel emotional rather than technical. > > Visitors should finish thinking: > > "This is what calendars should have become." > > Hero > > Large centered headline > > Time was never the problem. > > Below > > Calendars organize hours. > > Living Calendar organizes reality. > > Huge animated orb slowly breathing behind the text. > > Button > > Experience the Future > > When clicked, the page smoothly scrolls into the demo. > > Storytelling > > Each scroll section reveals another realization. > > Section > > Old calendars remember. > > Living Calendar understands. > > Animation > > Traditional calendar dissolves. > > Living network appears. > > Section > > Stop scheduling. > > Start coordinating. > > Show AI agents negotiating tasks. > > Research Agent > > โ > > Marketing Agent > > โ > > Weather Agent > > โ > > Travel Agent > > โ > > Family Agent > > โ > > Health Agent > > All communicating with each other. > > Section > > Every object becomes alive. > > Instead of static events show intelligent cards. > > Project > > Progress > > Confidence > > Dependencies > > AI Recommendations > > People > > Last interaction > > Preferred communication > > Response prediction > > Health > > Energy > > Sleep > > Stress > > Weather > > Travel > > Traffic > > Forecast > > Everything updates live. > > Interactive Demo > > The demo is the centerpiece. > > Looks similar to Apple's desktop software. > > Dark mode. > > No sidebars cluttering the screen. > > Minimal interface. > > Instead of a calendar grid the homepage says > > Good Morning. > > You have one decision worth making. > > Large card > > Finish Investor Proposal > > Why now? > > โ Bob replied > > โ Rain delayed construction > > โ Your energy is high > > โ Deadline moved closer > > Confidence > > 91% > > Button > > Show Me Why > > Clicking opens a beautiful dependency graph. > > Project > > โ > > Research > > โ > > Budget > > โ > > Approval > > โ > > Submission > > Each node pulses as live information changes. > > Living Timeline > > Horizontal timeline. > > Instead of appointments > > Every object has a pulse. > > Projects > > People > > Health > > Habits > > Goals > > Agents > > Communications > > Weather > > Travel > > Hovering reveals AI reasoning. > > AI Negotiation Demo > > Animated conversation. > > Research Agent > > "I finished." > > Marketing Agent > > "I need 45 minutes." > > Travel Agent > > "Traffic increased." > > Weather Agent > > "Rain starts in 22 minutes." > > Health Agent > > "Take lunch now." > > Calendar AI > > "I've rebuilt your afternoon." > > Entire interface rearranges live. > > Beautiful animation. > > Intelligence Screen > > Center headline > > Reality changes. > > Your plan should too. > > Show live updates every few seconds. > > Email arrives. > > Meeting canceled. > > Weather changes. > > Package delivered. > > Friend replies. > > Heart rate spikes. > > Everything subtly causes the interface to reorganize itself. > > No user interaction required. > > It feels alive. > > Relationship Intelligence > > Instead of Contacts. > > Living Relationships. > > Mom > > 17 days since last conversation. > > Recommended this week. > > Sarah > > Waiting for approval. > > Usually responds within two hours. > > Investor > > Highest priority today. > > Everything has AI context. > > Health Integration > > Energy > > 78% > > Focus > > High > > Stress > > Low > > Recommendation > > Deep work until 11:15. > > Take a walk afterward. > > Philosophy Section > > Large centered typography. > > Calendars ask > > "When?" > > Living Calendar asks > > "Why?" > > Pause. > > Then > > "What now?" > > Final Reveal > > The interface fades away. > > Only text remains. > > The future isn't scheduled. > > It's continuously negotiated. > > Then > > Living Calendar > > Organize reality. > > Not time. > > Large button > > Request Early Access > > Technical Feel > > The interface should never feel like a CRUD application. > > Everything should animate. > > Cards gently breathe. > > Graphs flow. > > Agents communicate. > > Nodes pulse. > > Lines move. > > Time continuously updates. > > Confidence values fluctuate. > > Weather updates. > > Email notifications ripple through the graph. > > The interface should feel like watching a living organism think. > > Overall Product Philosophy > > The product is not: > > Google Calendar > Apple Calendar > Motion > Sunsama > Todoist > Notion > > Instead, imagine if an AI maintained a continuously evolving model of your life. Goals, relationships, health, travel, work, weather, communications, and autonomous agents all feed into that model. The "calendar" is simply the current best plan generated from reality as it exists right nowโnot a schedule you manually assembled hours or days ago. > > One addition I'd make to the demo: don't let visitors just watch itโlet them break it. Include a "Simulate Reality" panel with buttons like Email Arrives, Meeting Canceled, Traffic Jam, Low Sleep, Rain Starts, VIP Calls, or AI Finished Research. Every click should cause the Living Calendar to instantly renegotiate the plan and visibly explain why it changed. That single interaction communicates the core idea far better than a static mockup ever could. ### 2. Access > I don't want them to have to request just have access to the demo ### 3. First complaint > Hey they are saying there is no calender wtf! ### 4. Second complaint > You where is the damn calender ### 5. Third complaint > You where is the damn calender this is lame it should be a real futurisitc calender now this dmeo shit you have where are all the cool functions ### 6. Redirect toward a real calendar > Literally this is not evne a calender its a pitch deck repurpose this to be an actual calender get rid of all the other shit it just need to be a calender that does all the shit your advertising ### 7. Scrap it > You know what delete all these shit. --- ## Phase 2 โ Voice-First AI Calendar (current, live app) Fresh start with a clear, focused spec. This is the app currently deployed at `https://calender-production-40ab.up.railway.app`. ### 1. Seed request > write a high level prompt for a revolutionary AI calender that is simplified and ran by voice alone and the voice can control the calender. I imagine an app where you can speak to the ai it asks you whatsup and you talk to it like "what am i doing on friday" and it brings you to the day and it should be able to show you when holidays, add birthdays add events and task etc. I should be able to say I need to go to the store to get ingredients for a dish and the ai makes a grocery list and break it down and even look up stores near by! ### 2. Adopted the generated spec as the working brief *(I asked for a high-level prompt above; the assistant wrote one back, and I pasted it back into the chat to confirm it as the spec to build against.)* > # Product Prompt: Voice-First AI Calendar > > ## Vision > Build a calendar app with no calendar grid to learn and no forms to fill out. The entire interface is a conversation. You open the app, it asks "What's up?", and you just talk to it the way you'd talk to a sharp assistant โ it handles the rest. The visual calendar still exists, but it's a *result* of the conversation, not the primary interaction surface. > > *(full spec covered: core interaction model, holiday/birthday/event/task creation by voice, compound requests like grocery-list decomposition + nearby store lookup, generative UI over a grid-heavy calendar, and the success criteria: go from "I need to cook lasagna Friday" to a scheduled task, grocery list, and directions โ entirely by voice, in under 30 seconds.)* ### 3. Approval to build > no ship it ### 4. Redo/overwrite instruction > overright it ### 5. Deploy directly > push str8 to railway with railway up skip github ### 6. Timezone bug report > Lets make sure the date and time is correct. i'm in utc-6 ### 7. Stats feature request > Lets improve this even further I want a way to seethe number of events, birthdays, task and reminders. ### 8. Clock / notifications / PWA / export / branding batch > Lets add a clock to this, notification and lets make it a pwa. I also want to export. 2 match the input and events curve to /html/body/div[2]/div[4]/div for uniform and make the and use this image for the favicon and app logo also use it to make an ogimage for this [Image #1] *(attached: a source image used to generate the favicon, app icon, and OG image)* ### 9. Bug report + edit feature request > [Image #2] so i have an issue, I need to be able to edit these and also it doesn't tell me what days just the time... *(attached: a screenshot of the live app showing a multi-day view where every event only displayed a time, no date)* ### 10. This request > Give me a md file of all the prompts i used for this project so far

# MAITH โ Prompt & Build Log A chronological summary of what was asked and what was built. Private keys and secrets are intentionally excluded. ## The app **MAITH** โ an AI calculator. You ask a math question in plain English; the AI reasons and calls tools, while **math.js** computes every number exactly (the AI never does arithmetic itself). It shows step-by-step working, handles scientific functions, and renders interactive graphs. White-on-black terminal-style chat UI with a scrollable "scratch" area. - **Stack:** Node.js / Express, OpenRouter (model `anthropic/claude-sonnet-5`), math.js, KaTeX, marked.js, Plotly. - **Live:** https://maith.cortexresearch.group - **Hosting:** Railway, auto-deploying from GitHub `main`. ## Prompts, in order 1. Build an AI calculator: plain-English input, AI + a real calculator to answer, explain, and show the work. Scientific + graphing. Simple white-on-black chat box with a "scratch" canvas that populates. First write a high-level spec. 2. Chose the math-engine approach (deterministic engine as source of truth). 3. Use an OpenRouter API; ship to Railway. 4. Chose inline-only scratch layout. 5. Chose interactive graphs. 6. "Do it" โ build it fast for a demo. 7. Use the `sonnet 5` model. 8. Give an elevator pitch + a walkthrough. 9. Fix the answer cutting off (it started mid-way, at step 5). 10. Lock the page so it doesn't stretch โ only the scratch area scrolls. Add export/import of chats as `.md`. Persist chats in local cache. 11. Commit and push to GitHub. 12. Connect Railway to the GitHub repo for auto-deploy. 13. Connect the domain `maith.cortexresearch.group`; make a cool OG image for socials. 14. Verify the domain. 15. Add a "buy me a coffee" link at the bottom (username `cortexresearch`). 16. Change the favicon to a math emoji if one exists. 17. Verify the TLS cert. 18. Make answers look better (Markdown wasn't rendering) โ tested with "explain e=mc2". 19. "Send this to Railway." 20. Update the website title to **MAITH**. 21. Update the OG image to say **MAITH** too. 22. Commit the `og.html` template to the repo. 23. Create this summary file (excluding private keys). ## Key fixes along the way - **Truncated answers:** the server returned only the final tool-round's text. Fixed by accumulating narration across every round and joining it. - **Locked layout:** `html, body { overflow: hidden }`; only `#chat` scrolls. - **Markdown + math coexistence:** shield math spans โ `marked.parse` โ restore โ KaTeX. Also fixed raw `\( \)` on cache-restore by booting after `DOMContentLoaded` (KaTeX loads deferred). - **Model selection:** `anthropic/claude-3.5-sonnet` 404'd on OpenRouter; switched to `anthropic/claude-sonnet-5`. - **Custom domain:** already attached and resolving (CNAME to Railway); verified live with a valid TLS cert. - **Rebrand to MAITH:** title, header wordmark, OG/Twitter tags, export filename, server log, OpenRouter `X-Title`, README. - **OG card:** regenerated with the MAITH wordmark; `?v=2` cache-bust on the image URL so social scrapers refetch. Template + `build-og.sh` committed under `tools/`. ## Security note An OpenRouter API key was shared in chat during setup. It was stored **only** as a Railway environment variable โ never written to any file in this repo โ and the user was advised to rotate it. No secrets appear in this log or the codebase.

1. Write a high level overview of a document signer app, users should be able to upload a pdf, read and accept it, then sign the document, take a picture and grab their location with gps, then they should be able to apply their signature and the data to the pdf and confirm it and package it into a zip. 2. Ok with this overview and the limit of 12 minutes on railway i'm in a competition. 3. I like this a lot now let's use a dark theme and make it super clean claymorphism. 4. Let's change the name from Document Sign O'Clock. Also some users are complaining about slow renders and their signature box being black on black. Also the agree to the document needs to be bigger, and if someone tries to move forward it should let them know they haven't agreed to the doc. 5. Open it and test the flow on my phone. 6. Remove "Document" โ Sign O'Clock is the app name. 7. The only issue I have with it now is that I'm not able to add the signature where I want to, so there should be a signature placement opportunity and a date placement opportunity. 8. Provide me a md of the prompts I used in this build.
